You can check your property’s connection type here. If your property is FTTN, you can get speeds up to 100Mbps. If your property is FTTP, you can get speeds up to 1000Mbps.

No, there is no standard connection or transfer fee. If you’re in a new development and need a new line connected, there may be associated NBN fees with that, which we can tell you about.

You can use any modem as long as it is NBN compatible. You can also use the modem from your old provider, assuming you own it outright.
If you know the model of your modem, we can confirm if it’ll be compatible or not.

Townsville Internet uses Ubiquiti hardware for all of our installations. However, if you have a particular brand you’d prefer, we can use that brand. You can either purchase the products yourself or we can source them for you.

The transfer process can take up to 48 hours. However, it is often completed the same day we begin the process.
When your internet transfers, it will drop out for a few minutes while the providers switch over, then it’ll come back.

Townsville Internet bills monthly. You’ll receive the invoice & payment instructions via email.
You can pay via a manual bank transfer or use GoCardless to set up recurring, automatic payments. Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date.

Yes, we do. Our call out fee is $220 (incl GST) for the first hour, and $165 (incl GST) per hour after.
If your internet is with Townsville Internet, you’ll get 50% off the call out fee above.

If you experience any issues within 7 days of the installation and the hardware is faulty, we will come out and repair it free of charge. However, if the issue is caused by user error, we will charge the call out fee and any additional labour hours at our standard rate.
